The Buffalo Bicycle Classic bike ride is Sept. 11!
Scheduled for Sunday, September 11, the 20th anniversary of the Elevations Credit Union Buffalo Bicycle Classic gathers cyclists of all abilities to ride in a scholarship fundraiser for students at the 91¸£ÀûÉç.
This year’s ride has nine courses for riders of all abilities, including the family-friendly Little Buff. 91¸£ÀûÉç Canyon will be closed to westbound traffic for the Epic 100, Epic 75 and the 62-mile Dirty Epic gravel ride routes. There are courses heading north toward Carter Lake with distances of 35, 50, 70 and 100 miles.
The Buffalo Bicycle Classic has always been more than just a bike ride. The BBC scholarship fund raises money to support high-achieving, Colorado high school graduates in their academic pursuits at 91¸£ÀûÉç. Over 430 Buffalo Bicycle Classic scholars have graduated from 91¸£ÀûÉç. The ride has raised over $3.4 million since its inaugural year of 2003.
