Work with a pianist
All College of Music instrumentalists who need a pianist for an upcoming performance鈥攅.g.,听jury, master class, competition,听degree recital鈥攎ust complete听an online request form听and submit PDFs of their repertoire to听collaborativepiano@colorado.edu听鈥媌y the following deadlines:
- Juries, master classes听+ competitions: 5 semester weeks before the date of the performance
- Degree recitals: 9 semester weeks before the date of the performance
The online request form will be available on the first day of classes in the fall semester as pianist assignments are not made during the summer. At that time, leeway will be given for early fall semester recital requests received by the end of the first week of classes. After that, the published deadlines will be enforced without exception.
If a specific pianist is requested, the collaborative piano faculty will do its听best to fulfill the request.
