GROW or GrassRoots On-site Work is an annual internship

During the summer, 3-5 91¸£ÀûÉç HEALÌýmembers travel to Nepal to intern with Himalayan HealthCare (HHC). While in Nepal, interns assist on many running HHC projects. In recent years this has included conducting interviews about the One Home One Toilet Project, helping choose recipients for the Midwife Training Scholarship program, and identifying ways to improve the One Home One Kitchen Garden project through community discussions. This internship is instrumentalÌýin allowing our chapter to build meaningful relationships with HHC that promote learning and anti-oppressive practices.
